The Valley Center USD 262 Business Department is dedicated to the careful management of district resources and providing accurate financial reporting, which includes state aid, local property taxes, federal funds, and student fees. The department is tasked with overseeing the accounting, budgeting, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll and benefit functions to best meet the needs of the district. The district staff and Valley Center Board of Education take seriously the responsibility of using tax dollars efficiently to benefit the overall learning environment in the classrooms.
