We know that in a time of conservative spending teachers and staff may have classroom needs and/or opportunities that are outside of their annual budget.  Grants may be submitted individually or collaboratively as a team.  A maximum of $2,000 is available for request.

This grant aims to support Valley Center School teachers and staff for projects and programs benefiting students not funded (or fully funded) by other districts funds.  This may include but is not limited to classroom materials, special projects/programs or field trips.  In addition to classroom grant requests; the library, athletic department and technology department are also able to submit grant requests.  Its intent is to support student needs.

Ineligible projects include individual personnel professional development, as well as individual teacher training and conference travel.  Also, items purchased by grant awards are to remain as property of the district, not property of district personnel.
