About

We are a growing, 5A school district proudly serving the communities of Valley Center, Park City, Kechi, and Wichita. Home of the Hornets, our district is built on strong community support and a shared commitment to excellence in education.
USD 262 offers a pre-kindergarten program, three elementary schools (grades Pre-K–3), an intermediate school (grades 4–5), a middle school (grades 6–8), and a 5A high school (grades 9–12) to more than 3,200 students. The district also provides virtual and adult learning opportunities through The Learning Center, which helps students of all ages earn their high school diplomas. Our strong partnerships with post-secondary institutions prepare students for college, career, and military pathways after graduation.
USD 262 employs more than 600 dedicated staff members, including teachers, support staff, and administrators, all committed to fulfilling our district’s vision: To be a premier school district known for excellence in education, innovative instruction, outstanding programs, and dedication to students.
