On Saturday, Aug. 8, USD 262 Valley Center Public Schools celebrated the opening of two new district facilities, Valley Park Elementary School and the Supplemental Learning Center, with ribbon cutting ceremonies and community open houses.

On Monday, Aug. 10, USD 262 Valley Center Public Schools officially kicked off the 2026-2027 school year with its annual Back to School Convocation and Pep Rally.

Valley Center High School celebrated the Class of 2026 during the commencement ceremony held On Sunday, May 10 at Heartland Credit Union Arena.
