At the November 10, 2025, Board of Education meeting, members voted to officially name the district’s new elementary school Valley Park Elementary School.

Valley Center Middle School welcomed veterans and active military members to a special Veterans Day Breakfast featuring coffee and donuts on Tuesday, November 11.

Valley Center High School engineering and design students recently visited the school’s ongoing addition, part of the district’s bond projects. The hands-on experience gave students a chance to see construction in action, ask questions of the superintendent, and connect classroom lessons to real-world engineering and design.

The Crime Stoppers in Schools program in Sedgwick County has created the Speak Up! program, which allows students, staff, and parents the ability to send anonymous tips through a secure website or smartphone app.
