For members of The USD 262 Board of Education there are many items of business for each monthly meeting.  However, in addition to the serious issues, there is sometimes fun items that appear on the agenda. On November 13, 2017 West Elementary 4th Graders shared their Social Studies projects with our Board Members.  Follow this link to enjoy photos.

On May 8, 2017 Abilene Elementary was presented with a Commemorative School Safety Patrol Flag to hang in their school in honor of their successful implementation of the Crossing Guard Traffic Safety program. Follow this link to enjoy photos of this Hornet Happening moment.

Nathan Dick and VCMS students presented their weather balloon launch project and explained all of their different jobs in preparation of the launch and their results. Follow this link to see more information and photos about this project.
